Ambition through Charity and Social Responsibility
At Travelers we are always looking to the future for ways to give back to the communities that we are part of, be that through charity work, sustainable practices or staff support. Our T5 committees encourage employees to be active and support causes they are passionate about. With groups covering charitable activity, environmental concerns, through to diversity and inclusion and more, there are plenty of ways for Travelers employees to champion causes they care about.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
At Travelers Europe, we have three established diversity networks; Women & Allies, Pride & Allies and Black Employees & Allies - with many more networks existing across the company that anyone can join.
The Black Employees & Allies Network was established to enhance the Black experience at Travelers, advocate for racial equity and provide a safe space to unite, support and professionally develop members and allies. The network strives to give people the knowledge, skills and cultural awareness needed to work collaboratively in an increasingly global market.
The Pride & Allies Diversity Network acts as a resource for LGBTQ+ employees and committed allies, with a mission to attract and engage members, develop internal business relationships and positively impact the community.
The Women & Allies Diversity Network is focused on taking positive action to improve the gender balance within the insurance industry. The network aims to support the professional development of women and committed allies in Travelers by delivering a variety of events, training and networking opportunities for members.
Clear Company Award
We are proud to be the first UK insurance company to achieve The Clear Company's Clear Assured Gold Award Status. This is based on an evaluation of inclusive practices regarding finding, assessing and retaining talent.

Taking Care of our Employees
We support our employees with their physical, mental and financial wellbeing through webinars and events. Our team of trained Mental Health First Aiders provides one-to-one mental wellbeing support and guidance, as well as group drop-in sessions for all employees.
Community and sustainability
We take pride in empowering our employees to have a positive impact by supporting their local communities and the environment.
Our partners at onHand provide employees with flexible volunteering and environmental sustainability opportunities. The app lists hundreds of ‘missions’, ranging from calling an individual experiencing loneliness to donating to local food banks, making a sustainability pledge or taking part in a team volunteering day.
The Travelers Community Connections platform turns employee giving efforts into financial rewards for good causes.
The platform boosts employee fundraising by providing matching gifts to donations made through the platform. We also give employees financial rewards to donate to good causes as a thank you for their volunteering efforts.
The Travelers Europe Forest was established in 2019 and grows when employees complete tasks in the onHand app.
The ‘forest’ is made up of saplings planted in high-impact regions, supporting global farming communities, wildlife areas and reforestation projects. So far, we have planted more than 2,500 trees.
