Travelers risk management consultancy services

As part of our risk control services, we can arrange for our risk control professionals to visit our customers’ premises and conduct a risk audit.

Health and safety

Employees are any organisation’s No. 1 asset. Our technically proficient staff have a deep understanding of health and safety risks in the workplace and can work with our customers to deliver well-designed health and safety management strategies and programmes. When appropriate, we can arrange site visits to assist with risk assessment guidance, machine safety, use and control of hazardous materials, noise control, ergonomics and other workplace issues that our customers face. Our team of risk control consultants will help our clients to drive health and safety performance and reduce losses associated with employee injuries.

Property protection

Travelers consultants can conduct fire-protection surveys of our clients’ property and provide tailored risk control advice. We help our customers identify, evaluate and address any fire hazards specific to their facilities and operations. Once hazards have been identified and reviewed, our specialists can:

  • Make recommendations to reduce loss potential.
  • Offer a variety of loss prevention tools, including hot work permits; guidelines for electrical equipment; adverse weather guidance; guidelines for fire safety management and self-inspection forms.

Occupational road risk

Occupational road risk starts with policies and procedures at the management level. Our road risk consultancy services comprise a total safety management process that includes driver qualification, driver selection, vehicle selection and maintenance, use of technology and training. The Travelers Risk Control team works with customers to get it right!

Business continuity planning

In today’s competitive global economy, the importance of organisational resilience cannot be understated. A business must be able to respond quickly to any adverse event and should have adequate processes and plans in place to ensure they can continue normal operations following any crisis or unexpected event. In addition to providing a library of online resources, including business continuity planning guidance, Travelers can offer on-site consultancy services to help customers develop a business continuity plan with the potential to save lives, reduce property damage and minimise interruption of business operations.

Product safety

Our product safety and liability specialists know that manufacturers and other companies that provide products and product-related services face unique challenges and risks. Legalities add to the pressure of conducting business in a competitive and transitioning global marketplace. Our risk control consultants can help customers identify and reduce the potential for losses through product safety risk assessments. Our product specialists can also provide customers with information about recordkeeping, third-party involvement/ risk transfer, product standards and regulations, warnings, instructions, labels and brochures.
