Delivered on a global network of more than 150 countries
Travelers established and maintains a dynamic network of local carriers and platforms in more than 150 countries. Through these partnerships, we’ve created a global network that connects leading local carriers and platforms with the right business, risk and cultural knowledge.
Efficient service and solutions save money and keep businesses focused on business. Running businesses across a few or many markets introduces complexity and can often slow down operations. Travelers is committed to delivering multinational insurance services as part of a domestic solution – including a single point of contact. We focus on delivering consistent coverage and sorting out the complexity so that you don’t have to.
Providing global services and support
Travelers has been a leading member of the International Network of Insurance (INI) since 1989. This expansive alliance with major international insurance companies allows us to meet insurance needs across the globe.
All members are held to high service standards and are bound by a service commitment outlining expectations for each member. Admitted policies are written in full legal compliance, in the local language and shown in their national currency. Members know the domestic laws and customs to help keep you compliant.
With assurance through global compliance
Compliance is a full-time job, and Travelers does this work to protect our customers. It’s critical to incorporate the subtle application of regulation and law to foreign-based insurance policies. For that reason, our underwriters are embedded in the local markets they support.
Businesses need an insurance partner who excels at knowing and applying local and regional regulation as well as country-by-country issues. Travelers is that partner.

Travelers global coverage for UK companies
We can place coverage in more than 150 countries, through a combination of Travelers offices, insurers in the International Network of Insurance (INI) and other insurers we work with.
With over 40 years of experience, INI is the largest network of independent insurers, with a presence in more than 150 countries and spread over all continents. Over 3,500 global insurance programmes and over 10,000 policies prove a consistent standard of service irrespective of where the insured operates globally. In addition to a central network office that manages the strategic activities, the network is overseen by the General Assembly, Board of Directors and Advisory Committees.1
INI carriers are independent insurers and experienced leaders within their respective markets. Each network carrier is approved by the INI Board of Directors and follows the same contractual membership obligations and service guidelines worldwide. Carriers are chosen based on defined criteria such as: financial strength, servicing capabilities and experience and claims handling expertise.1
Travelers is a leading network member with significant influence over the group’s operations and strategic direction. Travelers is the exclusive network member in the UK, Ireland, the U.S. and Canada.
