Through Risk Control On Demand, Travelers' customers can engage with risk control specialists almost immediately without the need for an onsite consultation. It's all about providing detailed, relevant risk control guidance in the ways that work best for our customers.

For example, one customer's workers were experiencing injuries while placing goods on shipping pallets. The plant manager recorded the operation and uploaded the footage to a secure Travelers website. An ergonomics specialist reviewed the footage and recommended a number of changes, including the use of a scissor lift.

The results were immediate -- fewer workplace injuries and fewer damaged goods. This is just one example of how Risk Control On Demand works to deliver loss prevention services that fit our customers' business needs.

Another example of the effective use of Risk Control On Demand involved a workstation evaluation. An employee reported discomfort in her neck, back and hands when using her workstation throughout the working day.

After reviewing the footage that had been uploaded, it became apparent that the employee was overreaching for her telephone and then cradling it under her neck. What's more, her PC screens were too low. Travelers specialists were also able to suggest changes to improve her workstation layout, as well as recommending a larger mouse, better back support to improve her posture, as well as recommend support for her wrists.
The process is easy. Customers just need to document their questions, conditions or issues and upload the relevant information and video footage to Travelers online. Travelers will engage the right specialists with the right skills, who will develop detailed recommendations and review them with customers and their workers using online collaboration technology. It's all about having a detailed one-on-one conversation to understand the specific issues each customer has, and then helping them access the resources they need to reduce those exposures and avoid losses.
Risk Control On Demand. It's just one more way we're using technology to help our customers in the ways that best meet their unique business needs.

We use innovative software to share images, screens, videos and much more to conduct remote consulting services no matter where our clients are located. All that is needed is an internet connection and we can do the rest.
