SME Management Liability Package
Coverage that is the complete package
Running a company, no matter the size, can be an exercise in risk-filled decisions. Business leaders, including entrepreneurs, shoulder a continuous responsibility to get it right. That doesn’t always happen. Travelers’ small to mid-sized (SME) management liability package (MLP) can be there to protect company leaders when decisions have unexpected negative consequences.
The SME MLP product offers the required, most-needed and the best-of management liability cover. Through the combination of insurance for directors and officers, commercial crimes, employment practices and pensions trustees liability, organisations can get holistic management liability cover. Additionally, the convenient packaging has been made more accessible through the MyTravelers® portal. Here, brokers can tailor covers, quote, then bind coverage instantly online using our MLP platform.

The new online quote system for our management liability package allows you to search for an existing business by entering the company registration number or company name.
(DESCRIPTION)
A text box for the company registration number is on the left side of the screen, above a red button that says: Search by company registration number. A Company Name text box is on the right side of the screen, under text that says: Don't know the number? Tell us the company's legal name instead. A 'Help' icon is above the registration number text box, to the right of the text: Company registration number. The cursor clicks on it and a box opens with the text: Unique registered number with Companies House.
(SPEECH)
You can look at the help text to find out more information about what you need to enter. Type in the company registration number. Click on Search.
(DESCRIPTION)
Text: Insured name & address. The name and address is below, with a link below that that says 'Edit address details'.
(SPEECH)
Check the address is correct. You can edit it if you need to.
(DESCRIPTION)
The page scrolls down to 'Insured details'.
(SPEECH)
If the data is available from Companies House, the business activity turnover and year of incorporation will automatically appear. Please check if they are correct. If they do not appear or are incorrect, you'll need to input or edit this information. The company structure will need to be selected from the dropdown options.
(DESCRIPTION)
The 'Company structure' dropdown is at the bottom of the page. A red Save & continue button is in the lower right corner.
(SPEECH)
Now you can select your required coverages and limits of indemnity from a range of options. The material facts section for each product contains a number of statements. To save time, these can all be agreed to in one go.
(DESCRIPTION)
An 'Agree' button is at the lower left. A 'Disagree' button is to its right. Both buttons are white. When the cursor scrolls over each, they turn red.
(SPEECH)
If you were to disagree, this could take you through to referral. For the purposes of this video, we will run through as though you have agreed.
(DESCRIPTION)
The cursor clicks on two 'Agree' buttons under Material Facts. The page scrolls down to Commercial Crime, which has checkboxes for Limits of indemnity. The cursor clicks on a checkbox. Below that is a list of Material Facts. The cursor clicks on 'Agree'. Under that is Pension Trustees Liability, with checkboxes for Limit of indemnity. The cursor clicks on a checkbox, fills in a text box that opens, then clicks on 'Agree'.
(SPEECH)
For pensions trustees liability, there is an additional question to answer. Type your answer in the box.
(DESCRIPTION)
The next section reads, Applicable to all covers, and has two dropdown menus. Below that is a list of Material Facts. The cursor clicks on 'Agree'.
(SPEECH)
Select the number of employees from the dropdown menu and the number of locations. Click on the last Agree button in Material Facts.
At the bottom of the page, select when you'd like the policy to start. You can always change it later.
(DESCRIPTION)
A dropdown menu opens a calendar. After a date is selected, a second dropdown lists 12 months or Custom.
(SPEECH)
The system will then default to 12 months policy term, but should you wish, you can select an alternative duration from the dropdown menu. Click on Save & Continue.
(DESCRIPTION)
The red Save & continue button is at the lower right.
(SPEECH)
Next is the quote page. The top line is green, which means you've got a quote without any referral. You can see how long the policy is valid for.
(DESCRIPTION)
Text in the centre of the page: Your quote is saved and is valid until 15/08/2018. You can return to it until then via MyTravelers. Below that are three links: Quote Schedule - insured version, Quote Schedule - broker version, and Policy Wording. Below that are two buttons: Email me this quote, and Copy as plain text.
(SPEECH)
There are links to the quote schedule and the policy wording. You can email these documents to yourself. And you can copy a summary of the quote schedule as plain text and then paste it into an email or a Word document.
(DESCRIPTION)
The page scrolls down to a section headed Directors & Officers, and below that is a section headed Corporate Liability, then Employment Practices Liability, Commercial Crime, and Pension Trustee Liability. To the right of each section is a button that says 'Remove this quote'.
(SPEECH)
Here, you'll see confirmation of the insured and a summary of each of the covers. You have the opportunity to remove any of the covers from the quote here. You also have the option to adjust your commission.
(DESCRIPTION)
The next section down is Commission, with a dropdown menu.
(SPEECH)
A final summary of the quote can be reviewed before clicking on Confirm Cover.
(DESCRIPTION)
A red Confirm Cover button is on the lower right.
(SPEECH)
The confirmation page gives you your quote reference number, your new policy number, and links to download the policy schedule and the policy wording. Copies are also sent to your email address. From here, you can return to MyTravelers homepage.
