Claims are initially reported by email with a follow up phone call. Formal notification is then placed via Electronic Claim File (ECF2).
Travelers operate a list of vetted and approved external service providers (ESPs) to ensure the correct expertise can be instructed based on the complexities of the claim.
We work with a panel of highly qualified and experienced surveyors who can assist in the event of any incident. However, if a policyholder wishes to use their own preferred surveyor, this is something that can be discussed with us.
Travelers policyholders can appoint their own choice of average adjusters when required. If requested, we can assist with recommending an average adjuster.
Travelers can work with the insured to offer a payment on account in situations where it is deemed suitable. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
