Marine stock throughput policy
We understand that for some businesses, it may be more efficient to insure stock on a marine stock throughput policy.

General questions
These questions will give you a sense of the information needed to write a policy.
- Is your building re-build value up to date and accurate?
- Are there any composite panels in the construction? If so, what type of panels are they (including the core material)?
- Is there any high racking in the warehouse? If so, does it impede any fitted sprinkler system?
Let's get specific
These are the kinds of detailed questions we will ask to better understand day-to-day operations.
Does your warehouse hold any of the following?
- Wine and spirits
- Tobacco
- Precious metals
If so, these would be considered high-risk stock and therefore need to be split out on the policy schedule.
